Actually the caption might more accurately read Schuylkill Canal, which ran between Reading and Philadelphia, alongside & sometimes including that river, with houseboat rides by the Pomona & the Mildred. As for views of the two houseboats, we believe this one is the more scarce. A lot of detail in this image, which will surely delight the historian. $25.00 ps(r)
