STEAMER EASTLAND COLLECTION
OF 7 DIFFERENT POSTCARDS

The Steamer Eastland capsized in the Chicago River 7/14/15 with horrific loss of life. Over 1200 people perished. The postcards showing this ship and the disaster became instant collectors items and are elusive to this date. These postcards are in collectible condition. No dogs. A minor fault here or there that is insignificant because of their historic importance. The postcards in the collection:

The Steel Steamer Ireland was registered to the Gilchrist Transportation Company in Cleveland; the names Gilchrist & Ireland are plainly visible on the bow.
